While plastic surgery is widely accepted in the celebrity world, the Kardashian-Jenner family has taken it to a whole new level. Recently, Khloe Kardashian candidly shared her feelings about her insecurities and what it’s like being compared to her famous sisters.
The 38-year-old reality star posted a video of her morning workout on Instagram. In the clip, she begins with a close-up, saying, “Trying to get the energy to work out. I’m just not in the mood, but let’s do it.”
Khloe’s appearance has changed significantly over the years, which hasn’t gone unnoticed by her followers. One fan boldly asked in the comments, “Do you miss your old face?” Khloe replied, “No,” prompting another user to suggest she make a video without a filter. To this, Khloe responded, “What does a filter have to do with the workout, queen?”
Khloe, however, stayed focused on the workout, explaining she had to use lighter weights due to an elbow injury. She also mentioned a bump on her cheek, which was a result of tumor removal surgery, but assured viewers it would flatten over time.
Back in 2021, rumors circulated that Khloe had undergone a face transplant. While she denied these claims, she did admit to having a rhinoplasty (nose job) and receiving injections she described as “not really Botox,” as she had an allergic reaction to Botox in the past.
Khloe has often opened up about the challenges of being compared to her older sisters, Kourtney and Kim, saying they received preferential treatment. When they did photoshoots together, her sisters were given numerous clothing options, while she was only offered 2 or 3 pieces at most.
These photoshoots took place before the body-positive movement gained momentum, and Khloe recalled being told, “Don’t worry, you’ll be in the background anyway.” She reflected on how she was often placed behind Kourtney and Kim in the photos, with her sisters in the spotlight.
